(More customer reviews)We had been looking into different air purification alternatives for our house before settling on this make and model.We had heard positive things on this particular unit, and decided to try it.it has only been a few weeks, but we can already tell a difference in the amount of dust and the number of times I have to dust in a week.With two dogs and two chinchillas, it was a smart buy and we would definitely recommend this over any type of room purifier.It was easy to install into our unit and it is easy to clean.

(More customer reviews)I had previously written "Filter came wrong size, (oversized). however since the material is simple filter material it could be cut down to size. This was a while ago, but from what I remember, this was exactly the filter the website indicated to order."The company since emailed me and informed me that this was a 'one-size-fits-all' type of filter.Nowhere in the website or when I recieved the filter was this explained.I'm glad they let me know this, however I would have liked to know this ahead of time so that I wouldn't have had bad feelings or spent time researching if I had ordered the wrong filter. A little information goes a long way!

(More customer reviews)Before ordering a replacement HEPA filter for your Honeywell (or other brand) Air Cleaner, be sure to check the model number on the unit. This filter is for four Enviracare Models (51500, 61500, 11520, and 17200). I replace my HEPA filter every year because I am very allergic to cigarette smoke, pollens, dust, molds, and other allergens and irritants. Honeywell suggests that you replace your HEPA filter every 1-3 years. Also, this HEPA filter has pre-filters which wrap around it, so you may want to order a box of those, too. Honeywell recommends that the pre-filters be changed every 3 months, but I've found if I vacuum them at least once a month, I can keep them longer. I really like my HEPA filters because they remove so much dust and pet hair from the air.
