(More customer reviews)We received an ecoquest safehearth heater for Christmas in 2008.My mother-in-law purchased one for her and one for my family.They worked well for the for the 3 to 4 months that we used them during the cold weather.I plugged mine in for the first time this winter and it will not will kick on, when it does it blows cold air.My mother-in-laws is doing the same thing.I called the company but since it is out of waranty, there is nothing that can be done to fix my unit.According the rep. from ecoquest, they do not service this unit, if it goes bad during warranty the company will simply send you a replacement, after that, you are on your own.Not only can they not repair the machine, they do not sell the parts so that someone else can.My mother in law paid $800 for two units and both of them are useless.Think twice about purchasing this heater, what a joke for customer service!!!!!!!!
