Definitely Cleans the air judging by the amount of dust that collects
Next to rat cage and completely destroys the foul scent, even takes gets rid of the thick Indian food cooking smell napalm
No replacing filters,used it for over 3 years now only cleaned the main unit 4-5 times with water, pre-filter need to be
vacuumed often

No replacing filters so after the carbon filter was kaput (a few months) there was no more nice ozone smell. And I cant find a replacement
The ions light never really lit up to tell me the machine was dirty even when it was definitely in need of a cleaning
